Finding your tribe is crucial - you're not meant to go at it alone.

Whether you're a business major, engineer, designer, digital nomad, founder, or nine-to-fiver with a side hustle, the desire to define your own success and take ownership over your life, is the common thread between you and our community members from all over the world.

To put it simply, I think the bonds you make on SI are different because you travel with a group of people who want to learn about themselves and grow just as much as you do. With that, the friendships I’ve made have evolved into such deep connections because we keep pushing each other to be better people.

These are the people I can always be 100% real with.

The Startup Island community is incredible and like nothing I've experienced before. The community consists of all types of people, including business majors, engineers, artists and more who want to start something and impact the world around them.

Whether someone was on the same trip as me or went to a different one makes no difference, we are all there for each other.

Scott Breece

Boston, MA

The value of this community is infinite. I think it is amazing that I have the ability to reach out to anyone in the SI community who is extremely like minded to me.

Even though I only went on the spring break trip with around a dozen people, I can still talk to the hundreds of people in this community like close friends.

Anthony D'Apolito

Philadelphia, PA

The people I met are fantastic. We still keep in touch and the group has become a place where we can support each others' goals.

We are a diverse group, but we are all moving towards something, building something to make the world a better place. That gives us tremendous connection but also leaves room for huge personal growth.

Holland, MI

Your trip is just the beginning. Beyond the amazing people you'll travel with, you become a lifelong member of the entire SI community of travelers and coaches.

From within the community, across multiple trips & cities, we've seen new projects and businesses launched, event collaborations, job opportunities created, a wealth of personal and professional support exchanged, roommate'ing in new cities, and above all...meaningful friendships formed.

"We're all in it together. We're all coaching each other."

& Spring Break Coach
